<br />Another thing to watch for with glass tile &#8211; many are not opaque.  If they are at all see-through, any pattern or differences behind the tile will show.  &#8211; one more reason to remove the old one and to do careful surface prep.</p>

<br />I agree with Don D about expansion and contraction. It would be better to use clear silicone in a caulk tube to glue the tiles on since it would allow them to flex with temp changes. Another good point is you could remove it later if you decided to change the look because the silicone would clean off the window with a razor blade scraper.</p>

<br />Buy some ;pebeo vitrail&#8217; in a clear medium and &#8216;paint&#8217; over your design about 3 times leaving at least 24 hours after each coat for it to dry before you do the next coat. You then pop them in the oven for 20 minutes at 160 degrees celcius. I have done this with glasses. Your designs will then also withstand dishwashes.<br />
I&#8217;ve just checked what&#8217;s available and you need &#8216;pebeo vitrail Lightening Medium&#8217;.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I just moved into a new townhome and the people who lived here before did NOT know how to clean a shower at all&#8230; nor did they ever attempt!  This shower is GROSS!  I cleaned the glass twice with scrubbing bubbles antibacterial, and STILL there is soap scum.  I used a scrub brush and the green scrubbing side of a sponge to scrub this stuff off, then tried to polish up with windex.  </p>
<p>Any advice?<br />
<br />Have you tried Vinegar? Make sure you open a window or it might knock ya out!</p>

<br />The tile is fine but the grout needs to be sealed after it cures. You can get it in a squeeze bottle from your tile store.<br />
